The history of the company dates back to 1966 when Head Chef Yovev San created his own collection from original authentic recipes, including the renowned delicacies of Foie Gras (liver),Foie Gras de Canard entirer(whole duck liver),terrines,Confit de Canard, Manchons de Canard, snails and Italian truffles.
Today the company produces the highest quality foie gras, packaged in tins, by using the purest and freshest duck livers, sourced from our farm – one of the ecologically cleanest farming regions on the European continent. A French technologist who has advised other market leading Foie Gras brands is responsible for the finesse of the recipe and preparation methods used to produce this original Foie Gras.
France, with 20,000 tons of Foie Gras consumed annually, is the world’s largest consumer of this specialised product. Since 2005, France has increased its consumption of this gourmet food by 600 tons a year. Close on France’s footsteps are Spain, Belgium and Italy. Markets which are currently undeveloped yet are already showing strong signs of capacity to consume Foie Gras are Russia, the Asia Pacific and the middle East. |
